BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. F an City Cler CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM 27 DATE: April 6, 1998 FILE SUBJECT: Nine Appointments Needed to the City of Miami Affordable Housing Advisory Committee REFERENCES: (May 12, 1998 Agenda) ENCLOSURES: (List of Members) The City of Miami Affordable Housing Advisory Committee was created to review the established policies and procedures, ordinances, land development regulations, the adopted City of Miami Consolidated Plan, and shall recommend specific initiatives to encourage or facilitate affordable housing, while protecting the ability of the property to appreciate in value. There are specific categories for each seat on this board. The list attached shows the categories and the members currently serving on them. All nine appointments are needed at this time. Each member of the Commission makes one nomination for appointment. The attached list of members shows the category for which each Commissioner has traditionally made appointments. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the City Manager place this issue on the May 12, 1998 Commission agenda.
