RESOLUTION NO. 9 8- 256
A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA) THE RIGHT TO UTILIZE
THE PROPERTY UNDER 1-95 BETWEEN N.W. 7TH AND N.W.
8TH STREETS, WHICH WAS RECENTLY USED BY THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT TO STORE IMPOUNDED VEHICLES,
FOR CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY ORIENTED ACTIVITIES
FOR A PERIOD EQUAL TO THE TIME SAID PROPERTY WAS
PREVIOUSLY UTILIZED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT,
SUBJECT TO ANY EXISTING RESTRICTIONS AND
LIMITATIONS; FURTHER, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, WITH THE CRA, FOR
PURPOSES NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1 The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is hereby granted the
right to utilize, for cultural and community oriented activities, the property under 1-95
between N.W. 7th and N.W. 8th Streets, which was recently used by the Police
Department to store impounded vehicles, for a period equal to the time said property was
previously utilized by the Police Department, subject to any existing restrictions and
limitations which may presently exist on the property's use.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized' to enter into an Interlocal
Agreement, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, with the CRA, for purposes of
effectuating this resolution.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediatel

I hereby request that you add to the agenda for the Commission Meeting of March 10,
1998, a Resolution granting the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) the right to
utilize the property under I-95 between NW 7th and NW 8th Streets for cultural and
community oriented activities and to authorize the City Manager to enter into an
interlocal agreement with the CRA for purposes necessary to effectuate the resolution.
