As you may Iii6* the Noise Abftniemi Task Force dw met on October 28,1999, approved a motion to recommend that the county implement a Part 150 study for Miami Internationel Airport. I believe that the Board of County Commissioners needs some time, to take action on the Pot 150 study, however I firmly believe that we can move forward with the noise detection sy stem. it is for this reason that we need the county Manager'sassistance to dh staff to install these detectors as soon as possible. I know of your commitmeaot to the quality of lifein all areas of U3=3i- Dade County, thew noise detectors will help Miami to accomplish this. Much thanks, Tomas Regalado Commissioner District 4
