Milani Capital Developmata, Inc. (MMI) received a Certificate of Title to the

action resulted from a foreclosure action and public sale of the property on July 23,

As owners of the property, MCDI had to purchase Commercial Property Insurance to
protect apinst liabdtiy, fig, windatorm, hail, smoke and other losses. CDBG funds
were used to provide a mortgage on this property and therefore HM s investment

The Miami -Dade County Tax Collector advised MCA on August 14,1998 that a Tax

MCDI paid the delinquent fees to avoid the Nami Dade County Sheriff Department

The Marti Theater, under the careful direction of Mr. Ernesto Capote, has earned the
coveted reputation of being one of the best Hispanic entertainment landmarks in the South
Florida area. Since its founding in 1966, the Marti Theatre has brought together the renowned
entertainers of pre -Castro Cuba and later has served as a hub for Latin American entertainers
everywhere.
Throughout its history, the Marti Theater has exemplified only the finest examples of the
Hispanic performing arts, earning a historic place not only in our community but in the hearts of
everyone. For this reason, Mr. Capote and I seek your assistance in helping to keep the doors of
this renowned theater open for future generations.
