AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 54-3 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, THEREBY REQUIRING NOTIFICATION OF ADJACENT BUSINESSES, PROPERTY OWNERS AND RESIDENTS AT LEAST TEN DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ANY TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO PERMIT ISSUANCE; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 54-3 of he de of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, is here amen d in the following particulars: 1� "Sec. 54-3. Permit required to obstruct or close street or lk or impeded traffic; fees; waiv f fees. (a) No person shall bstruct, close, or cause to be obstructe c sed any street or sidewalk in the city or 1W de the general movement of vehicular or peyestrian trattic without tirst having obtai a permit from both the police and fire -rescue a rtments. In the case of special events arjd stivals, an additional permit must also be ained prior to the event/festival from the dep t of public works. The departments of polity e-rescue and, if applicable, public work hall issue such permits only after 1 ords and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted.
