NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
PLEASE ALL TAKE NOTICE THAT the March 10 1998 meeting,
which was adjourned (continued) to Thu7sffa-y-1737M 19, 1998, will
convene at 11:30 A.M., in the Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133. Under the parameters of F.S.
286.011(8) (1997]. the City of Miami Commission immediately
thereafter shall announce the commencement of an attomey-client
session, closed to the public, for the purpose of discussing pending
litigation (Edward Marquez vs. City of Miami, Case No. 98-5020 (CA-
30) pending in the Eleventh Circuit of the Dade County Court) to which
the City is presently a party. The closed door session will begin at
approximately 11:35 A.M. and will conclude at approximately 12:00
P.M. and will be attended by Mayor Joe Carollo, Commissioner
Wilfredo Gort, Commissioner Humberto Hernandez, Commissioner
Arthur E. Teele, Jr., Commissioner J.L. Plummer, Jr., Commissioner
Tomas Regalado, City Manager Jose Garcia -Pedrosa, Interim City
Attorney Joel Edward Maxwell, and Assistant City Attorneys Olga
Ramirez-Seiias and Warren Bittner. A certified court reporter will be
present to ensure that the session is fully transcribed and said
transcript shall be made public upon the conclusion of the above -cited,
ongoing litigation. Please be further advised that at the conclusion of
the attomey-client session, the adjourned Commission meeting shall
be reopened and the person chairing the meeting shall announce the
termination of the attorney -client session.
All members of the public are invited to attend the regular portion of
said meeting.
