< The Code Enforcement Board was created to issue orders having the force of law.

Florida Statutes 162.05(2) requires members of the Code Enforcement Board to be .residents
Of the City of Miami. City Code Section 2.812 states that whenever possible, the board Is to
Consist : of an architect, a businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, a
subc6ntractor, and a realtor. Pysuant to F.S. 162.06(3)(b), all members serve three year
terms,
City Code states that the Code Enforcement Board consists of seven regular members and two
iltarnate members. The City Code (Section 2-812) does not. address which members of the
