BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. RETIREMENT TRUST It is recommended that the City Commission confirm the re -appointment by AFSCME of Waldemar Lee as the representatives selected by AFSCME as member of the City of Miami General Employees' and Sanitation Employees' Retirement Trust Board of Trustees as per attached Resolution. BACKGROt3NID: City of Miami, Code Section 40-243 (A), (Ordinance No. 10002 provides of trustees to administer and manage the retirement plan knownasthe for "City of MiaminGneral E member board Sanitation Employees' Retirement Trust." Of these nine members, one is to be selected by the City Managerployees' and , two by the general employees (A.F.S.C.M.E. bargaining unit), and two by the sanitation employees (C.I.G.U. bargaining unit). Four independent trustees are to be selected by the City Commission per recommendation by the two bargaining units. Mr. Charles Cox, President of AFSCME, has submitted for confirmation the name of Waldemar Lee for rea ointment Waldemar Lee would begin on December to the Pension Board (see attached letter).
