A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO ENGAGE A
QUALIFIED LAW FIRM TO PROVIDE LEGAL BOND
COUNSEL SERVICES TO ASSIST IN THE CITY'S
ANALYSIS OF' BINDING BOND INDEBTEDNESS AS IT
RELATES TO THE CITY COMMISSION'S
DELIBERATIONS CONCERNING THE DISSOLUTION OF
THE DEPARTMENT OF OFFSTREET PARKING ("DOSP");
ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR, IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $25,000, FROM, DOSP'S GENERAL
OPERATING BUDGET FOR SAID SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to engage the services
of a qualified law firm, as bond counsel, to assist in the City's
analysis of binding bond indebtedness as it relates to the City
Commission's deliberations concerning the dissolution of the
Department of Offstreet Parking ("DOSP");
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the
Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by referenced
thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this
Section.
Section 2. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to
engage a qualified law firm to provide legal bond counsel

services to assist in the City's analysis of binding bond
indebtedness, as it relates to the City Commission's
deliberations concerning the dissolution of the Department of
Offstreet Parking ("DOSP"), with funds therefor, in an amount not
to exceed $25,000, hereby allocated from DOSP's General Operating
Budget for said services.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective upon
its adoption and signature of the Mayor.11

'-� If the mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If
the mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall not be effective unless the
City Commission overrides the veto.
