HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-99-0645i �i I; J-99-660 7/27/99 RESOLUTION NO. %J A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING A DONATION, WITH AN ESTIMATED VALUE OF $675.00, FROM FLAGLER MEMORIAL PARK OF 15 LOADS OF SOIL MATERIAL TO BE USED BY THE OPERATIONS DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. WHEREAS, the Operations Division of the City of Miami Public Works Department uses large quantities of soil material to fill sanitation holes throughout the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, Flagler Memorial Park wishes to donate soil material to the City of Miami Operations Division of the Public Works Department to fill sanitation holes throughout the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, the estimated value of the soil is $675.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Section 3. BACKGROUND The Public Works Department Operations Division uses large quantities of soil material in the process of filling in sanitation holes throughout the City. L; ZREN11Tomas Regalado Commissioner The management of Flagler Memorial Park is willing to donate 5 truck loads of soil to the City of Miami to fill solid waste holes in different areas. The only item needed is a truck to pick up the soil. Please let me know if we need the soil, and if so when can we arrange for the soil to be collected.
