A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
APPROVING THE COCOANUT GROVE VILLAGE
COUNCIL'S ("COUNCIL") REQUEST THAT THE
SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY
("SUPERVISOR") PLACE ON THE NOVEMBER 2, 1999
CITY OF MIAMI ELECTION BALLOT, AT THE
APPROPRIATE PRECINCT (S), A SLATE OF
CANDIDATES FOR ELECTION TO THE COCOANUT GROVE
VILLAGE COUNCIL; FURTHER CONDITIONING SAID
APPROVAL UPON THE COUNCIL 1) PAYING ALL
APPLICABLE ELECTION COSTS PRIOR TO SAID
ELECTION, AND 2) MEETING ALL CRITERIA SET
FORTH BY SAID SUPERVISOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Cocoanut Grove Village Council's
("Council") request that the Supervisor of Elections of Miami -
Dade County ("Supervisor") place on the November 2, 1999 City of
Miami election ballot, at the appropriate precinct(s), a slate of
candidates for election to the Cocoanut Grove Village Council, is
hereby approved conditioned upon the Council 1) paying all
applicable election costs prior to said election,

and 2) meeting all criteria set forth by said Supervisor.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor Y
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of _ July , 1999.

�i If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.
