A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
ACKNOWLEDGING THE TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF
KINGS WRECKER SERVICE, INC. ("KINGS WRECKER")
FROM JORGE SALAZAR TO FRANCISCO GARCIA;
APPROVING THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI AND KINGS WRECKER,
DATED NOVEMBER 13, 1996, FOR THE PROVISION OF
TOWING SERVICES; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY DOCUMENT(S),
IN A. FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY,
EFFECTUATING SAID TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AND
ASSIGNMENT OF AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 96-808, adopted
October 30, 1996, the City Manager was authorized to execute an
agreement with Kings Wrecker Services, Inc. for the provision of
towing services in the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, said agreement under its own terms, requires prior
consent of the City Commission for any transfer, assignment, or
sale; and
WHEREAS, Jorge Salazar, President, of Kings Wrecker
Services, Inc. has advised the City that he has entered into an
agreement to sell one hundred percent (100%) of his rights and
interests in providing services related to towing to Francisco

Garcia; and
WHEREAS, Francisco Garcia has agreed to accept the terms and
conditions stipulated under the agreement between the City of
Miami and Kings Wrecker Services, Inc; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to acknowledge the
transfer of ownership of Kings Wrecker Service, Inc. ("Kings
Wrecker"), from Jorge Salazar to Francisco Garcia, and to approve
the assignment of the agreement between the City of Miami and
Kings Wrecker;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the
Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference
thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this
Section.
Section 2. The transfer of ownership of Kings Wrecker
Service, Inc. ("Kings Wrecker") from Jorge Salazar to Francisco
Garcia is hereby acknowledged, and the assignment of the
agreement between the City of Miami and Kings Wrecker, dated
November 13, 1996, for the provision of towing services is hereby

approved.
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorizedil to
execute any necessary documents in a form acceptable to the City
Attorney to effectuate said transfer of ownership and assignment
of ownership.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective upon
immediately its adoption and signature of the Mayor'.

�i The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all
requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not
limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
