REFERENCES : June 22, 1999 Agenda ENCLOSURES: The Jobs and Education Partnership (JEP) Regional Board was created to foster a partnership between the business community and the public sector in developing and operating training programs which truly meet the employment needs of the private sector. Pursuant to the JEP/LEO (Local Elected Officials) Agreement, the City of Miami has 19 seats (14 private sector and 5 public sector) on the JEP Regional Board of Miami -Dade and Monroe Counties. The City of Miami previously had 13 seats (list attached). The Commission at large is requested to confirm the nominees listed below which have been submitted by Joseph Alfano, Executive Director, Training and Employment Council of South Florida: 1.
