HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-99-0368J-99-534 6/7/99 P .Cf1T.TTTT(1Td N) 0 r) V 6 v A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, ITS EMPLOYEES, AND ITS CITIZENS TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF JOSE A. FERNANDEZ, UPON HIS UNTIMELY DEATH. WHEREAS, Jose A. Fernandez, a dedicated Assistant City Attorney for the City of Miami, passed away tragically on May 30, 1999; and WHEREAS, Mr. Fernandez, an extremely dedicated employee, always performed his duties in a professional manner and was particularly knowledgeable in the area of Labor Law; and WHEREAS, for more than five years Mr. Fernandez served the City of Miami as legal counsel to the Nuisance Abatement Board, Civil Service Board, and Affirmative Action Advisory Board; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission, on behalf of the City of Miami, its employees, and its citizens, to express its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Jose A. Fernandez; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. On behalf of the employees and citizens of the City of Miami, the City Commission hereby conveys to the =7 COM USSION MEETING OF JUN 0 9 1999 Resolution No. - }�- family and friends of Jose A. Fernandez, its deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences upon his untimely death. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
