HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-99-0181J-99-244 2/23/99 RESOLUTION NO. 9 9— 181 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $500.00, FROM APRICOT OFFICE SUPPLIES, AS A CONTRIBUTION TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, TO ACCEPT SAID DONATION. WHEREAS, Apricot Office Supplies wishes to donate $500.00 to the City of Miami for the 1999 Black History Month Celebration observed during the month of February; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. A donation, in the amount of $500.00, is hereby accepted from Apricot Office Supplies as a contribution to the City of Miami 1999 Black History Month Celebration. Section 3.
