FILE of the City Commission SUBJECT : Resolution authorizing an agreement for the extension of water FROM : REFERENCES: facilities for Kinloch ... Park Donald H. Warshaw ENCLOSURES: City Manager Resolution It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement between the City of Miami and Miami - Dade County for the extension of water facilities for. Kinloch Park in the City of Miami. The City is in the process of constructing a new recreation building in Kinloch Park located at 455 N.W. 47 Avenue. It is desirable and necessary to provide adequate fire protection service to the new building and park; however, in'. order to provide that protection, the water service must be improved by the installation of an 8-inch water main extension and a fire hydrant. Since Miami -Dade County owns the water system, operated by the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department, it is necessary to enter into an agreement with the County designating and setting forth the terms and conditions for providing fire protection to Kinloch Park.
