Qi A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION RELATING TO "THE CONTINENTAL CUP", A PROFESSIONAL SOCCER GAME AT THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM ON JANUARY 17, 1999, AND PRESENTED BY CONTINENTAL SPORTS MANAGEMENT, INC..; AUTHORIZING A CAP ON THE USER FEE OF $10,000 FOR THE EVENT; CONDITIONING SAID AUTHORIZATION UPON THE ORGANIZERS: 1) PAYING ALL NECESSARY COSTS OF CITY SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT, 2) OBTAINING INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN AN AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE, AND 3) COMPLYING WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. A cap on the user fee, in an amount not to exceed $10,000, is hereby authorized for "Tire Continental Cup", a professional soccer game at the Orange Bowl Stadium on January 17, 1999, presented by Continental Sports Management, Inc. Section 2. The herein authorization is hereby conditioned upon the organizers: 1) paying all costs of City services and applicable fees associated with said event, 2) obtaining insurance to protect the City in an amount as prescribed by the City Manager or designee, and 3) complying with MEETING OF Resolution PIa 44. all conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager or designee. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor1/. PASSER AND ADOPTED this 12th day of January ^1999. 1/ FORM AND CORRECTNESS.& ATTORNEY 186: CSK:BSS CAROLLO, MAYOR If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
