BACKGROUND: The Department of Community Development/Office of Workforce Development has prepared legislation appropriating funds and establishing the following special revenue fund as a result of a grant award from the South Florida Employment and Training Consortium (SFETC). The Consortium (SFETC) has awarded the City $857,390 to operate a One -Stop Center to.provide Intensive Services and/or Core Services to train and assist in job placement activities for economically disadvantaged adults and dislocated workers. This program is operated and administered by the Department of Community Development/Office of Workforce Development.
