TO CORRECTLY REFLECT THE TIME AGENDA ITEMS SHALL BE SCHEDULED AND TO ALLOW CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS THAT ARE REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA TO BE CONSIDERED, BY AN UNANIMOUS VOTE OF ALL COMMISSIONERS PRESENT, AS REGULAR ITEMS AT THE SAME MEETING; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Chapter 2, Article II, Section 2-33(i), of • the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby amended in the following particulars:l' "Chapter 2 ADMINISTRATION ARTICLE II. CITY COMMISSION Sec. 2-33. Order of business and rules of procedure. is 1 Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material. mm (i) Unless impractical to do so, all portions of • the agenda shall be scheduled to be heard at 9.89 19:04 a.m. on the date of the city commission meeting. The agenda portion entitled "consent agenda" shall be scheduled among the initial items for commission consideration. Consent agenda items that are removed from the agenda prior to city commission consideration shall automatically be scheduled as a regular agenda item at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the city commission, unlPas, by an unanimous vote of all commissioner, prPs_n ., he city commission onsidprs such consent item as a regular item at the same mPP-J . Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. If any section, part of section, paragraph, • clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance is declared.invalid, the • remaining provisions of this Ordinance shall not be affected. Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure on the grounds of urgent public need for the preservation of peace, health, safety, and property of the City of Miami. Section 5. The requirement of reading this Ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by an affirmative vote 2 - 11786 of not less than four -fifths of the members of the Commission. Section 6.
