the Policc Chief to conduct a comparative analysis of
colllparabJ<. cities {in(luding Miami -Dade County)
collcernim� usage of police overtime on a per sworn police
ollicer basis: further directing, that a fiill analysis of how the
Cite spends police overtime money, also be done in
conjunction with said comparative analysis.
ITEM A Direction to the Administration: by Commissioner Teele to
have another Cite department, other than the Police
Department, report back to the Comillission within 90 days
and give the analysis on overtime usage in the Police
Department.

City employees in connection With the Sunullit of Mayors'
Conference.

Direction to the City Attorney: by Commissioner Teele to
pull the articles of incoi7loration of the entity receiving funds
on behalf of the Mayor's Summit Conference and prepare a
resolution that Would require perspectively that no City
employee may work during duty hours, for a not -for -profit
organization that does not open its books, thus being subject
to "government ill the Sl1►1511ine and Public Records Laws';
further instructing the City Attorney to present such
legislation by the end of the day.

the appropriate plan for the Sister Cities program is received
