1 am following up on a concern for the citizens of District 5.
It was my understanding from the September 21, 1999 Commission Meeting that the City
Manager's office would provide for the September 28, 1999 City Commission Meeting a
detailed report on the opening date, job training, recruitment and hiring from the
Overtown area as required in the sale of land for the New Winn -pixie supermarket.
Commissioner Plummer also requested a report on if and why the City sought to involve
the "Beacon Council" in any recruitment or training in this project.
The item is Not on the agenda.
