AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING CHAPTER 42/ARTICLE III OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "POLICE/COMPLAINTS AGAINST POLICE OFFICERS", TO TRANSFER THE OFFICE OF PROFESSIONAL COMPLIANCE ("OPC") FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER, DELETE THE STAFF POSITION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT, AND THE OPC ADVISORY PANEL AND ITS FUNCTIONS, AND AMEND CATEGORIES RELATING TO THE FINDINGS OF THE INVESTIGATION; MORE PARTICULARLY BY AMENDING SECTIONS 42-67 THROUGH 42-70; AND CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
