PLEASE ALL TAKE NOTICE TI4AT a public hearing will bd held by
the Commission of the City of Miami, Florida, on Ju a 1999, at:,
2:00 p.m., in the City Commission Chambers at ify a , 0 an
American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of hearing any objec-
tions from any interested parties affected by the donation from Jose
Alvarez, Victor Alba, Hispaniola Travel & Services Inc., and Asocia-'
cion Comunal Dominicana. Said donation is valued at approximately'
' $6,100 and consists of a bust of Juan Pablo Durate, and related site.,
improvements such as .fencing, landscaping, and benches to be
placed in an approximate 120 sq. ft. unused octagonal building at Juan
'Pablo Durate Park which is located at 2800 N.W.17th Avenue.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard con-
cerning the donation. Should'any person desire to appeal any deci-
sion of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at
this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which "
any appeal may be based.

PLEASE ALL TAKE NOTICE THAT that a public hearing will be held
by the Commission of the Ci!y of Miami, Florida on June 22, 1999, at
10:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at Ct y . a , 00 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of waiving the
requirements of obtaining sealed bids for the purchase and installation
of four (4) new Central Processor Cards from Lucent Technologies
Public Safety Systems, located at 2600 Warrenville Road, Lisle, IL.,
60532. (630) 979-9922, in an amount not to exceed $5,100.
Inquiries from other potential sources of such a product who feel that
they might be able to satisfy the City's requirements for this item may
contact Captain Patrick F. Anderson, Communications Section. Com-
mander, at the City of Miami Police Department at 305.579.6436.
