We would like to be place on the agena for the next city commission meet Apri 13,1999. We need attention given to our problems . Making phone calls and writing letters have not gotten the results we need. Maybe if we attend your meeting ,someone will hear our plea for help. Action may even be taken. Our families are in danger! We would like to speak a update on our community problems. 1. How to scup the drug dealers who have taken over our neighborhood , and made if un-safe for our children. 2. Illegal dumping on our streets. 3. The un-safe abandon buildings , that homeless people are li-%zng in and drug dealers are selling drugs on the property. Violent crimes against children are taking place. WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO MATCH OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS. THUS WE NEED THESE TOOLS TO ALLOW THE LITTLE HAITI COMMUNITY TO BECOME A THRIVING PART OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AS WELL AS A PLACE WERE WE CAN BE PROUD TO CALL OUR HOME. We understand the plan for the future but the second Sunday+ in March we had 4 children killed in a drive- by. How many more bodies must we bring you? d) We need a Neighborhood Resource Officer in charge of children's programs e) We need more Police & school board police for afternoon security J) We suggest that the Net office staff be cross -trained g) WE NEED AN ABANDON BUILDING ORDNANCE PUT IN PLACE WE WOULD ALSO LIRE FOR THE DADE COUNTY ORDNANCE 1 7-B TO BLANKET THE CITY OFMIAML (UNSAFE STRUCTURE).
