" 0 — 1 ' 2 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION EXTENDING THE DATE, FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED 90 DAYS FOR WHICH THE OUTDOOR ADVERTISING REVIEW BOARD SHALL PRESENT TO THE CITY COMMISSION A REPORT DETAILING ITS RECOMMENDATION FOR THE REGULATION OF OUTDOOR ADVERTISING, AS DIRECTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 00-842, ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 14, 2000; DIRECTING THE. CITY MANAGER TO CONTINUE THE PROVISION OF ALL NECESSARY STAFF AND PERSONNEL ASSISTANCE TO THE REVIEW BOARD FOR SUCH PURPOSE. WHEREAS; on September 14, 2000, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 00-842 which created the Outdoor Advertising Review Board (the "Review Board") to review policies affecting outdoor advertising within the City of Miami and directed that the Review Board present its report to the City Commission within ninety (90) days; and WHEREAS, the Review Board requires up to, an additional ninety (90) days to complete a thorough review and compile information to make its recommendations to the City Commission; CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF DEC 1 4 2000 Re,50Iu 10,E Pda� __ . 1 ��� 0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The date for which the Outdoor Advertising Review Board shall present to the City Commission a report detailing its recommendations for the regulation of outdoor advertising, as directed by Resolution No. 00-842, adopted, September 14, 2000, is hereby extended for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days. Section 3. The City Manager is hereby directed to continue the provision of all necessary staff and personnel assistance to the Review Board for such purpose. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.'/ 1� If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
