To build an international event of these characteristics t#kes at least a year prior of preparations (we started on October 99), and a tremenClous financial cost and time consuming. for this first edition, all the financial cost hap been supported by loans from people believing in the future success of this event. As you may understand, it becomes very hard to obtain any kind of sponsorship with that kit d of time in advance, without having previous records (this is the First Edition). We hope to obtain sponsorship in the next weeks (as teams continue confirming) and be able oto cover the loans and to offer the teams participating the highest quality hosting possible. The Miami Rugby Community, composed of active rugby] players, ex- players, fans and family members have offered to devote and commit their personal time and skills, to work as volunteers for the event, showing once again thlere high spirit of cos munity services.
