RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
EXPRESSING ITS INTENT, THAT IN THE EVENT
FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF APPROXIMATELY $3
MILLION FROM THE PARKING SURCHARGE
COLLECTION, HELD IN ESCROW BY THE MIAMI-DADE
COUNTY. ARE RELEASED, THEY ARE TO BE
DISBURSED TO RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
AS A ONE-TIME REBATE ON SOLID WASTE FEES
AND/OR USED FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE
CITY, RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR THE
COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission expresses its intent,
that in the event funds, in the amount of approximately $3
million from the parking surcharge collection, held in escrow by
Miami -Dade County are released, they are to be disbursed to the
residents of the City of Miami, as a one-time rebate on solid
waste fees and/or used for capital improvements in the City,
recommended by the City Manager or the Commission
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.'/
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of September , 2000.

1� If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If
the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately
upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
