A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT LEGISLATION TO REQUIRE THE .APPLICABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN THE ANTI- DEFICIENCY ACT FOR ALL EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS OF CITY OF MIAMI AUTHORITIES AND AGENCIES, SEMIAUTONOMOUS INSTRUMENTALITIES, COMMITTEES, TASK FORCES, AND ADVISORY, REGULATORY AND QUASI-JUDICIAL BOARDS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Attorney is hereby directed to draft legislation to require the applicability of the provisions contained in the Anti -Deficiency Act for all employees and members of City of Miami authorities and agencies, semiautonomous instrumentalities, committees, task forces, and advisory, regulatory and quasi-judicial boards. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor'/ 1/ If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
