HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-00-0799J-00-1152 9/14/00 RESOLUTION NO. 00- !99 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SELECT AND HIRE FIRMS TO PERFORM WORK ON THE BICENTENNIAL PARK PROJECT WHICH HAVE BEEN PRE -QUALIFIED FOR BICENTENNIAL PARK BY A COMPETITIVE PROCESS. NOW, .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Manager is. authorized'I to select and hire firms to perform work on the Bicentennial Park Project which have been pre -qualified for Bicentennial Park by a competitive process. 1� The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. JOE CAROLLO, MAYOR In accordance with Miami Code Sec. 2-36, since the Mayor did not indicate approval of this legislation by signing in the designated place provided, said legislation now becomes effective with the elapse of ten (10) days from the date of commission action regarding same, without the Mayor exercising a vote.
