RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT EIGHT (8) DEEDS OF DEDICATION FOR
HIGHWAY PURPOSES AND APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF SAID DEEDS IN
THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY,
FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Department of Public Works
recommends acceptance of eight (8) deeds for dedication for
street widening purposes in the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, the City requested individual owners of certain
properties described herein to dedicate said land for street
widening purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners executed Warranty Deeds conveying said
properties to the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, said Warranty Deeds have been recorded in the
Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida, and by- reference
are made a part hereof as if fully incorporated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

- Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the
Preamble to this Ordinance are hereby adopted by referenced and
incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized" and
directed to accept eight (8) Deeds of Dedication as listed below:

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the
attached Resolution accepting eight (8) Deeds of Dedication to
the City of Miami for Highway purposes and approving recording
the same in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
BACKGROUND:
The Department of Public Works, through'its continuing efforts to
secure dedications of needed public right-of-way for future
widening of City streets, has received eight (8) Deeds of
Dedication.
The Department has reviewed these deeds., and has determined that
they are now in order for acceptance by the City Commission.
