HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-00-0698L] J-00-676 71//237�//0,0) RESOLUTION NO. � 698 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING A DONATION OF A POLICE SERVICE DOG, FROM THE METRO-DADE K-9 GUARD DOGS, WITH AN ESTIMATED VALUE OF $6,500, FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI POLICE CANINE UNIT. WHEREAS, the Department of Police has been offered a donation of a police service dog from Metro -Dade K-9 Guard Dogs, a dog training company, for the use and benefit of its Canine Unit; and WHEREAS, the Canine Unit recommends that the donation be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto. and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The donation of a police service dog, from the Metro -Dade K-9 Guard Dogs, with an estimated value of $6,500, for the u'se and benefit of the City'of Miami Police Canine Unit, is hereby accepted. 077 KEETING, OF I J U L 2 7 2000 Section 3.
