RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission

under existing Miami -Dade County Contracts No. 4907-3/98-2
and No. 1153-0/01 for a total amount not to exceed $109,000
for the Department of Parks and Recreation. Funding is

BACKGROUND:
The City of Miami Parks and Recreation Department has
identified funds for the purchase and installation of park
equipment, furnishings, shelters and court resurfacing at
various City parks.
In order to expedite the implementation of this project the
City desires to utilize Miami -Dade County Contracts No.
4907-3/98-2 and No. 1153-0/01 in an amount not to exceed
$109,000.
The Departments of Purchasing and Parks and Recreation have
realized a substantial cost and time savings utilizing the
Miami -Dade County Contracts for said services. It is
therefore recommended that an award be made to various
vendors from said contracts, as the responsible and
responsive vendors awarded under existing Miami -Dade County
Contracts No. 4907-3/98-2 and No. 1153-0/01.
