L ' A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ESTABLISH AND IMPLEMENT A POLICY WHEREBY AS A CONDITION OF ITS CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF MIAMI, ANY ENTITY RECEIVING FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT EXCEEDING $25,000, FROM THE CITY OF MIAMI, INCLUDING ALL FEDERAL AND STATE FUNDS ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI, SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP ("HOME"), STATE HOUSING INITIATIVES PARTNERSHIP ("SHIP"), HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS ("HOPWA") AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ("CDBG") FUNDS, SHALL (1) BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE SIGNAGE IDENTIFYING AND RELATING TO THE ENTITY'S PROGRAM OR . PROJECT, AND (2) ACKNOWLEDGE THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BY INCORPORATING THE SEAL OF THE CITY AND THE NAMES OF THE OFFICIALS AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI IN AND ON ALL DOCUMENTS, LITERATURE, PAMPHLETS, ADVERTISEMENTS, AND SIGNAGE, EITHER PERMANENT OR OTHERWISE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The .City Manager is hereby directed to establish and implement a policy whereby'as a condition of its contractual agreement with the City of Miami, any entity receiving funds, in an amount exceeding $25,000, from the City of CYTS' COMUSSION MEETING OF, MAY 1 1 2000 ' Resolution No, t. Miami, including all Federal and State funds administered by City of Miami, such as but not limited to Home Investment Partnership ("HOME"), State Housing Initiatives Partnership ("SHIP"), Housing Opportunities For Persons With Aids ("HOPWA") and Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Funds, shall (1) be required to provide signage identifying and relating to the entity's program or project, and (2) acknowledge the contribution of the City of Miami by incorporating the Seal of the City and the names of the officials and administration of the City of Miami in and on all documents, literature, pamphlets, advertisements, and signage, either permanent or otherwise. Section 2. It is the intent of the City Commission that the language and acknowledgement set forth in Section 1 hereinabove shall be determined by the City Attorney. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor Y If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
