RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
APPOINTING CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS AS MEMBERS OF
THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE BOARD FOR TERMS AS
DESIGNATED HEREIN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following individuals are hereby
appointed as members of the International Trade Board, each to
serve a term expiring May 5, 2001, or until the nominating
Commissioner leaves office, whichever occurs first:

The International Trade Board was created to plan and implement the City's international trade
promotion policies for the purposes of stimulating commercial and residential development and
expending the City's tax base through the promotion of foreign trade and local investment in
accordance with the bylaws adopted by the board.
Fifteen appointments are needed at this time, whose terms expire on May 5, 2000:
• Commissioner Winton has three nominations:
(1) Vacancy created because Vicky Garcia -Toledo, who had previously been nominated
by former Commissioner Plummer, resigned
(2) Vacancy created because Commissioner Sanchez appointed Rafael Garcia -Toledo,
who had previously been nominated by former Commissioner Plummer
(3) Ramon Flores
• Commissioner Sanchez has three nominations:
(1) Vacancy created because Ralph Arza resigned
(2) Bob Rodriguez
(3) Rafael Garcia -Toledo
• Commissioner Teele has three nominations:
(1) Vacancy created because Denise Barrett has not attended any meetings of the board
