HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-00-0239J-00-263 3/9/00 r RESOLUTION NO • 00, 239 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO IDENTIFY FUNDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $500,000 FOR CAPITAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS TO COMPLETE THE CHARLES HADLEY PARK COMMUNITY CENTER AND TO REPORT HIS FINDINGS TO THE CITY COMMISSION AT THE MARCH 23, 2000 CITY COMMISSION MEETING. - ,,,I...� C)o, 7 WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation requires funding for the Charles Hadley Park Community Center due to budgetary constraints caused by unanticipated cost increases based on the overall economy; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION. OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to identify funds in an amount not to exceed $500,000 for capital and infrastructure improvements to complete the Charles Hadley Park Community Center and to report his findings to the City Commission at the March 23, 2000 City Commission meeting.
