RESCINDING, IN ITS ENTIRETY, RESOLUTION
NO. 00-40 WHICH APPOINTED COMMISSIONER TOMAS
REGALADO AS A COMMITTEE OF ONE FOR A PERIOD
OF 360 DAYS, TO REVIEW THE STATUS OF ECONOM
DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF MI ,
ESTABLISHING IN LIEU THEREOF, THE ECO C

Section 3. The Economic Development Committee (the
"Committee") is hereby established for a period of 363 days,
which time may be extended by the City Commission, if necessary.

Section 4. Purpose, Powers and duties. The purpose,
powers and duties of the Committee are:
(1) to review the status of economic development in -
City of Miami;
(2) to schedule meetings, as deemed necessary, wit embers

Officers. The members of the Committee shall

Section 7. Rules of procedure. The Committee may

Section 11. Assignment of personnel. It shall be the

sufficient administrative and necessary support to the Committee.

duty of the City Clerk to comply with applicable laws related to
public notice.

If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution,, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
