Economic Dev in the City of Miami (J-99-1077)
The attached resolution has been prepared pursuant to Motion 99-986 adopted by the City
Commission on December 14, 1999. The resolution, if adopted, will formally appoint
Commissioner Tomas Regalado as a Committee of One, for 360 days, to review economic
development in the City of Miami. The legislation further (a) requires that a status report be
presented to the City Commission every sixty days; (b) provides for administrative support; and
(c) requires all meetings with members of the community or other individuals to be conducted
pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Florida Government in the
Sunshine Law.
