BACKGROUND The Administration presented amendments to the FY 2000 Annual Appropriations Ordinance for first reading on April 13, 2000. It is important to note changes that were made on the floor which are now included for second reading. The $70,000 from Strategic Investment Reserves will be to perform the Allapattah Produce Market Traffic Study rather than for the SW 8t' Street Feasibility Study. Additionally, we are requesting that the appropriation for Non Departmental Accounts be amended to reflect the revenues in excess of the proposed expenditures being carried as a "budgeted reserve." Accordingly, the $30,791,164 should be $31,653,929 for an increase to budgeted reserves of $862,765. With this change, the total General Fund budget becomes $313,710,316.
