AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISISON ESTABLISHING A NEW SPECIAL REVENUE FUND ENTITLED: "SOLID WASTE REDUCTION RECYCLING AND EDUCATION (FY'00)" AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SAME IN THE AMOUNT OF $265,147, CONSISTING OF TWO GRANTS FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL- REGULATION, A RECYCLING AND EDUCATION GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $174,155, AND A WASTE TIRE GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $90,992; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT SAID GRANT AWARDS AND TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, TO ACCEPT SAID GRANTS; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
