A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CTTY COMMISSION RELATED TO THE MIAMI JAZZ FESTIVAL, TO BE HELD AT THE BAYFRONT PARK PROMENADE ON JANUARY 18 -19, 2002; AUTHORIZING THE WAIVER OF FEES AND PERMITS PERMISSIBLE BY LAW AND THE PROVISION OF SERVICES FROM THE DEPARTMENTS OF POLICE AND FIRE -RESCUE, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,223.95; AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR SAID SERVICES, FROM ACCOUNT CODE NO. 001000921054.289; SAID AUTHORIZATIONS CONDITIONED UPON THE ORGANIZERS: (1) OBTAINING ALL PERMITS REQUIRED BY LAW; (2) PAYING FOR ALL NECESSARY COSTS OF ALL OTHER CITY SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT; (3) OBTAINING INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE; AND (4) COMPLYING WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The waiver of fees and permits permissible by the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, and the provision of services by the Departments of Police and Fire -Rescue, in an amount not to exceed $10,223.95, is authorized for the Miami Jazz Festival, to be held at the Bayfront Park Promenade on January 18-19, 2002. Section 2. The allocation of funds for said services is authorized from Account Code No. 001000921054.289. �srr�+Pui:�aax 1�J"4� Section 3. The herein authorizations are conditioned upon the organizers: (1) obtaining all permits required by law; (2) paying for all other necessary costs of City services and applicable fees associated with said event; (3) obtaining insurance to protect the City in the amount as prescribed by the City Manager or designee; and (4) complying with all conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager or designee.
