BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Five appointments are needed at this time: The Commission at large has one appointment to make for seat currently held by Willie Johnson, who is employed by Miami -Dade County. City Code Sec. 2-884(e) states that no employee of Miami -Dade County, Florida, or any municipality therein other than city employees, shall serve on or be appointed to any board of the city of Miami, unless the city commission waives this restriction by a four-fifths affirmative vote of its membership and the employee is a resident of the City of Miami. The Commission at large is requested to confirm reappointment of four individuals recommended by the Coconut Grove Village Council: 1. Frank Balzebre 2. Susan Billig 3. Michael Spetko 4. Jay Windsor For your information, attached please find a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting the Agenda Office to place this issue on the December 13, 2001 Commission agenda. This matter was partly deferred from the October 11, 2001 Commission meeting.
