A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 01-1038 WHICH
APPROVED THE CITY'S CO-SPONSORSHIP OF A YOUTH
PRAYER VIGIL SPONSORED BY THE NAACP YOUTH
COUNCIL THEREBY CHANGING THE DATE THE EVENT
IS TO BE HELD FROM SEPTEMBER 30 TO
NOVEMBER 4, 2001, AND AUTHORIZING THE. WAIVER
OF ALL FEES AND PERMITS PERMISSIBLE BY THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS
AMENDED, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1100.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Resolution No. 01-1038, adopted September 25,
2001, is amended in the following particulars:l/
"RESOLUTION NO. 01-1038
Section 1. The cc -sponsorship of a youth
prayer vigil sponsored by the NAACP Youth Council
("Organizer") to be held on Septembei� 3a
November 4, 2001, at Bayfront Park, provided it does
not conflict with any other scheduled event, is
approved.
Section 2. The waiver of all fees required by
the Bayfront Park Management Trust and the waiver of
all fees and permits permissible by the Code of the
words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted.
Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining
provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks
indicate omitted and unchanged material.

City of Miami, Florida, as amended, in an amount not
to exceed $1100, is authorized.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.?

zi If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it
shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by
the City Commission.
