As President of the Spring Garden Civic Association since last April. I Speak for the membership to enthusiastically recommend Dr. Ernie Martin for that Board. Dr. Martin has had a long career dealing with issues of historic preservation, first in Miami Beach and recently in the Spring Garden neighborhood. He is very familiar with District 5 and was instrumental in the attainment of Historic Neighborhood status for Spring Garden in 1997. Dr. Martin would be a valuable asset to the newly formed Board.
