Funding is available from the Police General Operating Budget, Account Codc No. 001000.290301.6.715. BACKGROUND Due to rising filel costs, the Department of Police has exceeded the existing contract amount of S1,697,387 allocated for fuel consumption through May 2001. The Police Department requested and received approval from the City Manager to issue an Emergency Purchase for the continued provision of fuel from Miami -Dade County fueling facilities for invoices through May 2001, in an amount not to exceed $19,090.
