FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH (THE "ORGANIZER"), IN' A PARK LOCATED IN THE OVERTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD ON AUGUST 18, 2001 FROM 12 NOON TO 6:00 P.M.; AUTHORIZING THE WAIVER 0:' ALL PEES AND PERMITS PERMISSIBLE BY LAW; AUTHORIZING TH'r; PROVISION OF IN-KIND SERVICES BY THE DEPARTMENTS OF POLICE, FIRE -RESCUE, AND SOLID WASTE; AUTHORIZTNG A CASH GRANT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,500, TO 8E USED FOR MISCELLANEOUS EXPENDITURES BY THE ORGANIZFR; CONDITIONING SAID AUTHORIZATIONS UPON THE ORGANIZER: (1) 013TAINING AT:T, PERMITS REQUIRED BY LIi'J; (2) PAYING FOR ALL NECESSARY COSTS OF AIL OTHER CITY SERVI.Ch;S AND APPLICABLE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT; (3) ORTATN'NG INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE; AND (4) COMPLYING WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND LIMTTATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY N.ANAGrR OR DESIGNEE; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE SPECIAL EVENTS FUND FOR SAID GRANT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CONMSSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The waiver of all fees and permits permissible by the Code of the City of Miami., Florida, as amended, and the provision of in-kind services by the Departments cm A� 1dB$Ti'i� or Jl11 ! 0 2001 A010IYtwo {viz. ��- 6 • of Police, Fire -Rescue and Solid Waste for Gospelfeat to be conducted by St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (the "Organizer"), located in a park in the Overtown neighborhood on August 18, 2001, between 12 noon and 6:00 P.M., is authorized. Section. 2. A cash grant, in the amount of $4,500, to be used for miscellaneous expenditures by the Organizer is authorized, with funds allocated from the Special Events Fund for said grant. Section 3. The herein authorizations are conditioned upon the Organizer: O obtaining all permits required by law; (2) paying for all other necessary costs of City services and applicable fees associated with said event; (3) obtaining insurance Lo protect the City in the amount as prescribed by the City Manager or designee; and (4) complying with all conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager or designee. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor -V If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The resolution contains blank litres to accommodate the identification of the funding source required for the cash grant.
