BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF -MIAMI FLORIDA Section 1. The bid of Trppic Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder pursuant to Invitation for Bids, dated May 17, 20011 in the proposed amount of $43,805.10, for the project entitled JUL 1 0 2001 ands" I r 41_ 664 • • "Brickell Bay Drive Landscaping Project B-4634", for the total bid of the proposal, based on lump sum and unit prices, is accepted at the price stated herein, Section 2 The total.estimated project Casts of $48,581 are allocated from Project No. 341170, as appropriated by the Annual Appropriations and Capital . Improvement Projects Ordinances, as amended. The total :project costs consist of $43,845.10 for the contract costs, and $4,775.90 for estimated expenses incurred by the City. Section 3. The City Manager is authorizedY to execute an agreement, in a form -acceptable to the City Attorney, with Tropia Landscaping 6 Lawn Maintenance, Inca fox the project. Section 4. ENCLOSURES Resolution It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution accepting the bid of Tropic Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, Inc. a company located at 17973 S.W. 248 Street, Homestead, FL 33031, whose principal is Yolanda Santana, President, for "Brickell Bay Drive Landscaping Project, B-4634", received May 17, 2001 in the amount of $ 43,805.10, Total Bid; authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract on behalf of the City. There has not been any previous work performed by Tropic Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, Inc. with the City of Miami. BACKGROUND: Amount of Total Bid: $ 43,805.10 Const.
