RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING A CAP ON THE USER FEE OF $5,000
FOR THE PRESENTATION OF PROFESSIONAL SOCCER
GAMES BY INTERFOREVER SPORTS, INC. AT THE
ORANGE BOWL STADIUM ON JULY 7, 2001, SAID
AUTHORIZATION CONDITIONED UPON INTERFOREVER
SPORTS: (1) PAYING FOR ALL NECESSARY COSTS
OF CITY SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES
ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT, (2) OBTAINING
INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT
AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR
DESIGNEE, AND (3) COMPLYING WITH ALL
CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE
PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, FOR SAID
PURPOSE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. A cap on the user fee of $5,000 is authorized
for the presentation of professional soccer games by Interforever
Sports, Inc. at the Orange Bowl Stadium on July 7, 2001.

Section 2. The authorization is contingent upon
Interforever Sports, Inc.: (1) paying for all necessary costs of
City services and applicable fees associated with said event, (2)
obtaining insurance to protect the City in the amount as
prescribed by the City Manager or designee, and (3) complying
with all conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the
City Manager or designee.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized" to execute
all necessary documents, in a form acceptable to the City
Attorney, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.'
The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all
requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not
limited to those prescribed by applicable City charter and code provisions.
If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the and of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. Tf
the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately
upon override of the veto by the city Commission.

It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution
establishing a cap on the Basic Use Fee of $5,000 for the presentation of professional
soccer games by Interforever Sports, Inc. at the Orange Bowl Stadium on July 7, 2001.
