WHEREAS, the Department of Fire -Rescue requires the Procurement of badges and insignias for its personnel; and WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, Invitation for Aides No. 00-01-055 was mailed to thirty-nine potential bidders; and WHEREAS, seven responses were received on April 18, 20011 and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Chief of the Department of Fire -Rescue recommend that the bid received from Kokopelli em C019=81 o1 14EETYNO OP llduoluikiu go. 01- 546 0 Traders, Inc. be accepted as the lowest responsive and responsible bid; and WHEREAS, funds are is available from Account Code No. 001000.280601.6.075] NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The April 18, 2001 bid received from Kokopelli Traders, Inc. for the procurement of Firefighter badges and insignias for the Department of Fire -Rescue, on an as -needed contract basis, for a period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, in an annual amount not to exceed $28,280.80, is accepted, with funds allocated from Account Code No. 001000.280601.6.075. section 3.
