RE: Proposed Resolution for May 24, 2001 City Commission Meeting
Payment of reasonable attorney's fees and costs: Henry Llorella (J-01-420)
At the January 11, 2001 meeting, the City Commission adopted Motion 01-024 which

amount to be paid was reasonable and appropriate.
The invoices related to Henry Llorella's case have been reviewed, and adjustments in
certain sums have been made, and based upon the customary rates paid in the community, the
sum of $160,000 is determined to be reasonable.
I therefore recommend approval of the attached proposed resolution authorizing payment,
in the amount of $160,000, to the Trust Account of Ronald J. Cohen, P.A., on behalf of the
F.O.P. (Fraternal Order of Police). Funds are available from the City of Miami Self -Insurance
