RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE TO THE
SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("SEOPW CRA") OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT
224 NORTHWEST 12TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA,
AS LEGALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; DIRECTING THE
CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE THE NECESSARY
DOCUMENT (S) FOR CONVEYANCE AND ACCEPTANCE
OF SAID PROPERTY; FURTHER DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE
CITY ATTORNEY, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami (the "City") acquired Lot 4,
Block 10 of SOST'S SUBDIVISION, as recorded in Plat Book B, at
Page 27, of the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida (the
"Property") on April 26, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to convey the Property to the
Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the
Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and
incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The conveyance to the Southeast Overtown/Park
West Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Miami owned
property located at 224 Northwest 12th Street, Miami, Florida,
more legally described as Lot 4, Block 10 of SOST'S SUBDIVISION,
as recorded in Plat Book B, at Page 27, of the Public Records of
Miami -Dade County, Florida (the "Property"), is authorized.
Section 3. The City Attorney is directed to prepare the
necessary document(s) for conveyance of said Property from the
City of Miami and for acceptance by the CRA.
Section 4. The City Manager is authorized!/ to execute
the necessary documents, in a form acceptable to the City
Attorney, for said purpose.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.��/
1� The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all
requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not
limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
2/ If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at
the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
